So, uhhh… Teach me what to do now? How do I improve my defense now that I've hit the level where I really need to stack multiple different kinds of tricks to get very far?
But I don't see myself pushing beyond that to the leaderboard-type stuff or whatever. I'd really like to hit GR 70 at least once for the Primeval drops and whatnot, and to keep up with my friend in two-player rifts (he's at about the same place I am, though for different reasons). So I'm racing the clock even though I can burst down pretty much anything, since I can barely ever afford to bypass enemies or wrangle them into a bigger blob before I smush them.
Which means my Greater Rift progression is capped pretty sharply by having to carefully manage the trash I run into. I've hit a tier where only Energy Armor keeps every enemy I face from one-shotting me. Full Tal Rasha's, Ancient Deathwish, Endless Walk set, level 50 legendary gems, meteors falling out of the sky if I so much as whistle, semi-phenomenal nearly cosmic power.īut… I'm kinda stuck. Let me be more specific: I've gotten up to Torment 13 / GR 60 (T12/GR55 comfortably, a bit higher if I really focus and push).
I picked it up hoping to melt everything with wizard lasers and, so far, that's been a rousing success. I started playing Diablo 3, like, three weeks ago.
